RAYCON X-ray inspection
A metal detector finds metal. X-ray inspection finds a wider range: Sesotec list aluminium, glass, bone, wire, stone, ceramics, rubber and plastics among the contaminants their X-ray systems detect — and they work even through metallized packaging, where a metal detector cannot.
The RAYCON family splits by whether the product is already packaged or still loose, because the two need completely different handling: a tunnel over a conveyor for packs, and a bulk-flow arrangement for unpackaged material.
