Raising the bulk density of light regrind
HV — plastcompactor / agglomerator
The HV Plastcompactor increases the bulk density of low-density regrind — shavings, foam, fibres and film — in a continuous, water-free process. The densified product flows freely and can be fed directly to extrusion or injection moulding without a forced feeder.
Why the HV
Continuous densifying
Two discs with kneading bars (one rotating) generate friction to compact material continuously — not in batches.
Free-flowing output
Higher bulk density and good flow allow direct extrusion or injection moulding.
Better mixing
Improves consistency in mixing silos, especially after film washing.
Integrated process
Pre-shred, compact via buffer silo, then re-grind with air classification to remove dust and fines.
