Inspecting UV-visible inks used to mean putting a filter over a xenon strobe, which threw away most of the light. Unilux use UV LED diodes directly and avoid that filter penalty.
The result is substantially brighter UV inspection for security printing, currency, passports and anti-counterfeit work, as well as for optical brighteners in ordinary packaging.
