At production speed a printed web is a blur. A stroboscopic inspection light flashes in sync with it so the image appears to stand still — which is the difference between catching a defect on the press and catching it on the finished reel.
Unilux build the strobes and the vision systems: handheld and fixed-mount LED strobes, high-output units for wide strip and steel, UV strobes for security printing, and camera-based UniPRINT and Edge Tech systems.

LED instead of xenon
LED strobes give longer life and lower maintenance than the xenon lights they replace — and on the UV side they avoid the filter penalty entirely.
Handheld to full-width
From a 0.3 kg pocket strobe to daisy-chained LED2000 units covering a full wide web, and Sentry covering strip to 2600 mm.
Sees UV too
A dedicated UV range for security printing, optical brighteners and anti-counterfeit features, up to 10× brighter than filtered xenon.

UniPRINT puts the web on a screen; Edge Tech detects steel coil edge defects automatically rather than relying on an operator watching.
