The HELIOSTAR II S embodies the sum of W&H’s extensive experience and knowledge in manufacturing high-class rotogravure presses for the flexible packaging market. Designed to run shafted or hollow cylinders, it delivers superior print quality at the highest speeds — up to 600 m/min — on the most demanding substrates.
Individually driven inking rollers ensure perfect inking at all speeds, while powerful dryers guarantee sufficient drying capacity and the lowest residual solvents even at maximum output. Benchmark register accuracy with HELIOCONTROL
HELIOCONTROL offers precise register accuracy even for low-contrast inks and varnishes. Combined with SUPERGRIP rollers, it achieves the most accurate register even with challenging substrates such as PE — and especially environmentally friendly MDO-PE as a PET replacement for standup pouches.
Fast, easy job changes
Slide-in COMBICART systems allow easy exchange of cylinders and/or inking systems to reduce changeover times, while the EASY-SYNC function with one-touch control automates pre-register setting — so the press spends more time producing and less time in setup.
Sustainable, energy-efficient production
