Atmospheric plasma treatment
Corona works on a flat web passing over a roller. Plasma goes further: it modifies the surface chemically in the gas phase, which lets it replace wet-chemical primers entirely — and a plasma jet can reach geometry that a corona station never could.
AFS offer two routes: Aldyne for in-line surface modification of webs, and the PlasmaJet for cleaning, activating and welding three-dimensional components.

Aldyne plasma surface modification
Replace wet chemical primers with ALDYNE™ and achieve guaranteed adhesion on wide material webs at significantly lower costs and with less effort.
