The B&B Kartomat is a side-loader case packer: it takes individual case blanks from a magazine, erects and opens them, positions the products in the case from the side, folds the flaps and closes them with hot-melt glue or self-adhesive tape. Built for American Case (RSC) corrugated cartons at up to 25 cartons per minute — and, thanks to its ultra-compact design, it retrofits into existing lines even where installation space is extremely limited.

Overview
Side-loading, gently and precisely
The Kartomat is an automated secondary-packaging system that loads from the side — ideal for sensitive products and grouped formats. Case blanks are taken from a magazine, erected and opened, the grouped products are inserted from the side, and the flaps are folded and closed with hot-melt glue or self-adhesive tape.
It runs American Case (RSC) cartons in corrugated board with single or multiple flutes, with versatile closing options. Its ultra-compact footprint makes the Kartomat easy to integrate — even retrofitting into existing lines where space is extremely limited.
