Sterile packaging for the most demanding applications
Sterilizable bags are used primarily in medical technology and the pharmaceutical industry. Made from Tyvek® — a nonwoven of high-density polyethylene developed by DuPont™ — they provide a high microbial barrier and excellent tear resistance for reliable, sterile packaging.
Header bags combine a transparent, gas-impermeable film with a strip or insert of Tyvek®, enabling sterilization with gases such as ethylene oxide (EO). Every machine is cleanroom-compatible — up to ISO cleanroom class 5 — and can be designed to your exact specification, processing Tyvek® with LDPE or laminated materials.
