Tech Bridge & Tech Carbon
Mounting adapters for the plate room and carbon-fibre press adapters for the press.
Two different jobs, two different adapters

An adapter builds a sleeve up to the diameter your press mandrel needs. Tech Sleeves makes two families, and they are not interchangeable — one lives in the plate room, the other lives on the press.
Tech Bridge Standard is the mounting adapter: it carries the sleeve on the mounting machine. Tech Carbon and Tech Carbon+ are press adapters: high-modulus carbon-fibre bridges that stay on the press mandrel and take the printing sleeve.
Tech Sleeves does not publish numeric specifications for either adapter family. Diameters, wall build-up and air configuration are engineered to your press and mandrel, so specify them with us rather than working from a catalogue figure.
Tech Bridge Standard
The mounting adapter used on the plate-mounting machine, built as a six-layer sandwich around the Tech Core.
Vinyl-ester epoxy resin
The body is built in vinyl-ester epoxy resin around a Tech Core, in a six-layer sandwich construction.
Air-Through or Separate Air
Two air configurations are offered. Which one suits you depends on how your press and mounting machine supply air to the mandrel — we will confirm before ordering.
Miller ball valves
Miller ball valves are available as an option on the air circuit.
Spacer option
A spacer option is available to adapt the adapter to your mandrel arrangement.
Air-Through vs Separate Air — what's the difference?
Tech Carbon and Tech Carbon+
Carbon-fibre press adapters. Tech Carbon+ is a build-up option on the Tech Carbon body rather than a separate product.
High-modulus carbon fibre
The adapter body is wound from high-modulus carbon fibre, which is what keeps a large-diameter bridge light and stiff.
Filament winding
Filament winding lays the fibre continuously, so stiffness is consistent around the circumference. Precision Winding is available as an option.
Universal seal
A universal seal is fitted as standard, with a custom universal seal available where your mandrel needs one.
Air-relief holes
Air-relief holes let the printing sleeve be mounted and demounted without fighting trapped air.
Spare notch
An optional secondary steel notch gives a second register position, or a fallback if the primary notch is damaged.
Air cylinder
An air cylinder is available as an option on the adapter.
How the adapters are built
| Tech Bridge Standard — body | Vinyl-ester epoxy resin over a Tech Core |
|---|---|
| Tech Bridge Standard — construction | Six-layer sandwich |
| Tech Bridge Standard — air | Air-Through or Separate Air |
| Tech Bridge Standard — options | Spacer; Miller ball valves |
| Tech Carbon — body | High-modulus carbon fibre, filament wound |
| Tech Carbon — sealing | Universal seal; air-relief holes |
| Tech Carbon — options | Precision Winding; custom universal seal; air cylinder; spare (secondary steel) notch |
| Tech Carbon+ | Additional build-up on the Tech Carbon body |
Tech Sleeves publishes no numeric specifications for the adapters — diameter, wall build-up and air configuration are engineered per press. Contact K Group with your mandrel details.
