The FILMEX II Stretch, part of W&H’s new generation of cast film lines, is built to deliver exactly that: consistent mechanical properties across the full web width and over time, with best-in-class MD and TD thickness tolerances.

Its integrated FILM PERFORMANCE MONITOR (FPM) continuously monitors and records the production process, giving every roll a data-matrix or QR code with its unique FPM quality data. Connected to the lab and downstream equipment, this makes the full production chain transparent and enables targeted optimization — for high productivity, consistent quality and optimum performance in film processing.

Perfect reels from the FILMATIC PS winder

The FILMATIC PS dual-turret winder, developed specifically for stretch film, produces excellent rolls with perfect edges. Two laterally offset winding units, dedicated slitting-tension zones and identical web paths guarantee consistent roll quality, while a unique lay-on-roll design gives low unwind forces and homogeneous air distribution throughout reel build-up.
