The Teach Line is COLLIN's education range — table-top machines that teach real extrusion process behaviour at a scale a classroom, training centre or QC bench can actually accommodate.
They are genuine processing machines rather than models: the same control philosophy and the same process variables as the larger lines, in a compact standard design.

Teach Line Blown Film Line (air-cooled)
for trainings, apprenticeship & further training Extremely uniform blown filmThe Blown Film Unit BL 200 is a compact and easy to handle unit for the production of blown films made of all standard polymers. Technical description Special characteristics are a height-adjustable take-off, a separately driven winder as well as a cooling blower, which is integrated into the machine base. The control panel includes all electrical and pneumatical control units and operating elements.

Teach Line Roll Mill
for tests & trainings Compact, practical & high qualityThe COLLIN Teach Line series includes compact table-top machines for the processing of polymers, especially for apprenticeship and research & development. With the lines, it is possible to easily simulate different discontinuous and continuous processes of plastic processing or to test samples. The Teach Line Roll Mill is used for mixing, plasticising, kneading and forming plastic and elastomers.

Teach Line Strand Pelletizer
small line for the production of pellets Compact, efficient, practicalThe COLLIN TEACH LINE Strand Pelletizer is the ideal small line for one pellet length. The line consists of a pelletizing unit with a pair of feed rolls, guide piece, fixed counter-knife and rotating guillotine. Via pressure and tension screws, the gap between rotor knife and static knife can be adjusted. A transparent door enables good observability of the feeding and cutting process.

Teach Line Water Bath
for cooling of polymer strands Small, compact, practicalThe COLLIN TEACH LINE Water bath is used for cooling polymer strands. The small and compact device can easily be positioned on every table. Via two guide rolls, the strand is guided in the water. Furthermore, the water bath has two curved supports and four rubber feet. The optimal water throughput capacity is adjusted with an adjusting valve at the inlet.

Teach Line Compounder
laboratory, tests, trainings Retrofittable from co-rotating to counter-rotating operationAll COLLIN TEACH LINE Compounders are available and retrofittable for co-rotating or counter-rotating operation. The table-top compounder consists of a processing part with drive, mounted on the electrical cabinet. Compounders are suitable for the continuous melting, mixing, homogenizing, alloying and discharging of plastic masses.

monoaxial stretching of tapes & monofilaments Modular, compact, practicalStretching lines are used for monoaxial stretching of tapes and monofilaments. As with many COLLIN lines, also here, the modular design has priority. With the procedure, the characteristics of polymers can essentially be modified, which results in an extension of the fields of application.

Teach Line Blown Film Dies
he blown film die with a radial sprial mandrel distributor provides extremely thin and even blown films. Quick material changes are possible. The COLLIN blown film dies are available as 1, 3, 5 or 9-layer versions.

Teach Line Flat Film Lines
cast film line & smoothing calender Smoothing, laminating, casting, drawingIn compact design, this line unites the well-known functions of a cast film line with those of a small smoothing calender. There is one type, which is equipped with the COFIS camera system and an additional take-off. Via pneumatic cylinders, the upper of the three rolls is designed to be moveable and enables to smooth films. The gap width can finely be adjusted.
