With the OPTIMEX II, W&H redefined how customers achieve consistent high-quality film, better output and best-in-class flexibility — by providing standard machine configurations. Suited to a wide range of 3- and 5-layer films, it combines high output rates with outstanding film quality, and its optimized configuration means faster delivery times.
Many components originate from the VAREX II high-end family and have been adapted for OPTIMized EXtrusion, especially for PE products. Excellent extruder melt quality, the field-proven MAXICONE die, precise cooling-ring and profile control, and a long collapsing unit for excellent flatness all combine — fully integrated into W&H’s control and automation system for economic, reproducible production.
