Composition, hardness, tensile strength and straightness are published per grade — so a 600 can be compared against a 500 on figures, not description.
Swedish steel
Blades are manufactured from Swedish steel, with the microstructure and heat treatment tuned per grade rather than bought in as a commodity strip.
Patented Nano treatment
The 900 Nano series extends blade life through a patented surface treatment that avoids the hazardous chemistry used to make coated blades.
